Arnold Chiari like complex malformation of central nervous system in an Alpine French goat
Main Article Content
Abstract
A case of malformations in the nervous system of a stillborn Alpine French goat is reported. The findings were elongation of the occipital lobe with hernia of cerebellar vermis into the foramen magnum and spinal canal of the atlas, lissencephaly and absence of lateral ventricles. Some anomalies agree with the description of Arnold-Chiari malformation, related to abnormal development of nervous system, but the exact cause is unknown.
